Standing Water in Your Basement?
4/20/2017 (Permalink)
Spring has sprung! When we think of spring we tend to think of the famous saying “April showers bring May flowers” but spring time also brings about much more than that. For some us turning on the sprinklers, dragging out the garden hose, or bringing out the pressure washer for the first time it’s important to do a little check up. Thanks to watermygrass.com, we have great tips to share with you before running your sprinklers for the first time.
Sprinkler Tune-Up Checklist
- Check for anything that may obstruct the flow of water.
- Replace any chipped or broken nozzles to avoid any unwanted leaks.
- Inspect all the water valves for any leaks.
- Test the pressure on the main water valve before turning on the sprinkler system.
- Make sure to turn on the water valves slowly to prevent a pressure surge that can bust your pipes.
