SERVPRO of Cass and St. Joseph Counties has been volunteering their time and efforts caring for our stretch of highway that we adopted through the MDOT (Michigan Department of Transportation) state program since 2012. Three times a year our crews line up on both sides of the two mile stretch of highway and collect bags of trash to enhance the appearance of our community. Since 1990, Adopt-A-Highway local groups have collected over a million bags of trash. Currently 2,800 groups are participating in the program and have adopted over 6,400 miles of Michigan highways. The goal of the program is to beautify the roadsides to show how gorgeous Michigan really is!
